These lovely birds were swimming in the beautiful lake near Ross Castle.

"Ross Castle is located at the Edge of Lough Leane in Killarney National Park, just outside Killarney town in County Kerry. The castle is a typical example of the stronghold of an Irish Chieftain during the Middle Ages. The date of its foundation is unsure but it was probably built in the late 15th century by one of the O'Donoghue Ross Chieftains." (goireland.com)

This is a really lovely shot of this group of mute swans, like a family outing! Nice colours and nice composition to catch them all in frame. Good work!

Hi Anouk, now this is very cool. This is the second time I've seen these Swans. I remember these guys from TE the other day, different setting of course, both of them great. I like the composition you have in this one, with the birds swimming around those reeds, protecting the cygnets in the middle. Great colour with good sharp clarity.

Nice shot, love your POV on this one. Also the composition is very good with the young swans at the front being overlooked by mom and then the straggler at the back. Nice work and welcome to TN.
