[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken the same day as yesterdays post, this was on the way back to the car when the light was fading fast.

I wanted to show the amazing light rays that winter gives and hopefully open peoples eyes to winter mountains (though don't all rush out there please - I like them nice and quiet!).

Taken on Mangerton Mountain, south of Killarney in Ireland, looking toward the Ring of Kerry (westwards), the photo was taken on film, the negative scanned and then resized. This is the full frame, and has not had any colour enhancements/saturation etc.

It was taken free hand in fast fading light, zooming in on what was left in the distance.

Wonderful view across the mountain flods - very reminiscent, though more rugged, of the views across the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Eastern US. You captured the colors very well. I was not aware of Ireland as mountainous like this - thanks for sharing!
