Sligo stands at the mouth of the Garavogue River between Lough Gill and the mighty Atlantic Ocean. Enjoying a wealth of ancient heritage dating back some 6,000 years, landscapes which have remained unspoilt for centuries and very close connections with the poet and playwright W.B. Yeats and his family.

Hi Stephen!

Back to landscape? Excellent control of exposure (long exposure) rendering a nice blur in the water. Good composition and excellent use of the wide-angle.

Nice shot and TFS.

Hi Steven!
Another amazing place turning to jewel by your skill! Perfectly composed, with great deatils, DOF and blurred water effect. Not much to say except - superb landscape.

Wow, very nice. The water movement is excellent, the shutter speed is just about right (for me, I know everybody has different opinions on this). Great detail and beautiful colours, and that trademark tree, you often seem to find a desolate lonely tree to add to the composition. A great shot.

I agree with Sabine, I want to try some landscape sometime and if I can get anywhere near this quality I'll be happy.

Cheers,
Adrian

Hello Stephen,
Wonderful landscape.Effect of slower shutterspeed is perfect.
I liked POV,DOF,framing and composition also a lot.
TFS...:-)

Lovely capture Steve,
A Very nice composition in the vertical..
The solitary tree, combined with the 2 second exposure, has produced an excellent result..I also like the light/shadow across the hillside. :)
Very well done.

Hi Stephen,
I love these images with long exposure and running water
This one is very beautiful - all details in the image are very sharp. Exposure is perfect.
TFS - Shir

Hello again,
This is a lovely view. I like the portrait framing and the blurred water in FG. The stream leads into the frame really nicely.
Great colours and details too.
VERY WELL DONE!
