Intermediate in form between O. garganica (itself a Gargano Peninsula endemic) and O. bertolonii and considered to have arisen as a hybrid between those two species.
Height: 20-30 cm
Flowering: April-May
Habitat: Garrigue, maquis, light woodland and scrub areas.
Endemic to the Gargano Peninsula

Hi anita/mike,
this is very interesting flower captured in a beautiful way. its shape and coloration has come good againt neutral background. TFS.
