Taken on a beautiful spring day - many flowers and insects around :-)

The genus Lathyrus consists of the sweet peas and vetchlings, flowering plants in the legume family Fabaceae. There are approximately 160 species of Lathyrus; they are native to temperate areas, with a breakdown of 52 species in Europe, 30 species in North America, 78 in Asia, 24 in tropical East Africa, and 24 in temperate South America.[1] There are annual and perennial species which may be climbing or bushy.

Hi Shir,
This is a lovely image of this flower, I have no idea which species it is either. The colours are very vibrant and the quality of the image is wonderful. Nice DOF too.

Wow ! Great colors ! The texture on petals is well detailled. The little insect is a nice bonus.
The "+++" : subject, vivid colors, sharpness, DOF, light & exposure...
The "-" : perhaps more space on the left side for composition...
