Capri Sunrise I
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a photo taken from the island of Capri this summer. I woke up early to get a glimpse of the sun rising in the morning. From this nice viewpoint I waited for the sun to show up. I got some nice sunrise pictures, but it was when the sun rose "into" the layer of clouds it got interesting. The rays of light shining down on the Sorrento peninsula was quite something. I also liked the contrast between the blue sky and the dark ocean and mountains - almost looking like they are from two different worlds.
Post processing:
Converting from raw
Adjusting levels
Some burning
Decreasing saturation a few steps
Sharpening
Ill be back with more pics soon:) |

Hi Torbjorn
Wow.... beautiful image. TFS.
Hi Torbjorn,
You managed to get a simular kind of feel to this photo compared to the photos you made a Norway. I find that really impressive. I do like this photo a lot. The difference in color between the sky above the clouds and below it is as large as day and night. The sun gave the island some beautiful gradient silhouttes.
TFS,
Niek
:) tomorrow
Nice work with the light! Very impressive. It looks like a post card of a place I wish I was at rather than work. TFS!
Hello again!
And again fantastic landscape! The game of light is really fantastic here! Colours, details - just great :>
Best withes,
Radomir
