Very nice capture of this shapely flower. If I'm not mistaken, it has not opened as of yet. If you are around the area where you took this you may attempt to find another and take it open, it would be a distinct image with the shapes that are present. For using fill flash you have controlled the lighting extremely well,

Wow, nice looking flower. Obviously it is a pea family plant. Maybe Lotus corniculatus or something in Lotus group? If it's L. corniculatus, certainly you'll find them in Italy.
