I like very much the strong contrast of colours! I don't know exactly what species is, probably is a coleopter. Te coleopter is the biggest order of insect with more of 400.000 species, they have a lot of different colours and structure!
This species with the strong contrast between red and black is well visible.

very good capture of insect. The sharp focus is very nice and the blurred background has enhanced the image.

Hi Tommaso,
Beautiful colors, with excellent detail in this shot. The DOF look perfect for this shot. That bug really has the Christmas colors. Nice shot!

Hello Tommaso!
Very nice close up.Clear details, colors, contrast,POV,framing and composition are wonderful.TFS...:-)

Hello Tommaso,
It's a nice shot of Trichodes apiarius.
I think it would be better to make a bigger closeup or at least frame it tighter to remove the beetle from the center of the picture.
Anyway, it has nice colours and good details.
WELL DONE!

Very nice colours of this bug!
Beautiful BG with the white flowers!
Good details of the insect!
Nice POV!

Hi,
Great macro with great bug!
The colours are great!
Ana:)

Hello Tommaso,
Yes, as Monika said this is a member of genus Trichodes (family Cleridae), however it is not T. apiarius (differently looking stripes). There are several species of that genus in Europe. I think this one is Trichodes leucopsideus.
Best greetings,
Michal
