it's a Scorpion fly Paolo and it is male. IU have't got my books on me but try Panorpa communis, but there are a couple of similar species.

Nice shot.

Nice Makro. Soft and bright on the wing tips, but great color and detail on the rest. Good shot overall.

Very nice Paolo.
Paul is right about the ID, scorpion fly.
I have 2 pictures posted where you can see the difference between the sex.
Well done.

Well, that's something I've never seen. What a bizarre looking insect. Good shot Paolo.

Nice shot Paolo. The DOF is a bit shallow, but it shows the important part clearly. Wel done.

Paolo... no olvides colocar los valores de exposicion de la imagen por favor.
La captura es muy buena, con atinado POV, aunque la profundidad impide ver al insecto completo en foco.

Paolo... you do not forget please to place the values of exposure of the image.
The capture is very good, with accurate POV, although the depth prevents to see the complete insect in focus.

Paolo, Great looking bug! It's a good shot with good detail. I don't see your F stop or shutter-speed? Thanx for posting!

This guy has been put together from the spare parts of other insects :) I have never seen one like this. The exposure is good and so is the composition.

Thanks for posting
