| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Most stink bugs are phytophagous (plant-eating), although some species are predaceous. The predaceous species are useful in controlling pest insects. These are the most common and abundant of the bugs that produce a disagreeable odour. Stink bugs have a shield-shaped body. Many are brightly coloured or conspicuously marked. They have a large scutellum that partially covers the front wings. Many species have large scent glands on the side of the thorax.

DOF could be a lttle better but overal this is very good capture. I like level of detail on the bug and green colours.

Otra interesante entrega Paolo con excelente perspectiva y agudeza... los detalles sobre el cuerpo del insecto son muy buenos.
Buen DOF (no creo que pudieras optar por otro valor de F en este caso) y encuadre.
Another interesting post Paolo with excellent perspective and sharpness... the details on the body of the insect are very good.
Good DOF (I do not believe that you could decide on another value of F in this case) and frame.
Paolo, I agree with Ricardo's evaluation 100%! Good job!
Yes, Nice POV. And very sharp details. I do think that you should have used a larger F setting. I always start at F8 and work from there. It would imporve the DOF. Besides that it's a great shot.

I like the detail and sharpnes in this shot. I wasn't aware that some shield bugs were predatios.
Thanks for posting
