Fascinating scene! Here are two neighbors learning to share resources and live in relative harmony with each other. (A good lesson for us humans!) The opposing directions they face remind me of the ying/yang symbol, and all the meaning and contrasts embodied in that symbol.
It would be nice if the bee's wings were in sharper focus. But bees and beetles don't sit still for pictures like flowers in vases do! I really like this composition.
