Gorgeous shot Gerard... brillant color. DOF, detail, composition all well done. The only thing I would change would be the saturation of color... it is a bit too intense... but that is just me. :)

I only heard about this species, I never saw it in flower.It grows also in Romania, in montaineous regions, in meadows. So, I should search for this kind of flower next time when I will go on the mountains. It is a beautiful flower, and well reprezented. TFS!

lily always fascinates me with its beautiful colours. The hue too is very lovely. This one is so well detailed and superbsly rich colour. i like the grassy background.

Hello Gerard, this Lilium species grows in my country (Poland) also, but it is very rare and only in mountain regions. I like it very much due to its big 'flame' red flowers. In Koldzko Land which flora I'am researching it is quite widespread. In some montains meadows there I've seen so many plants that is looked like the meadow was in fire... ;-)

Lilium bulbiferum is very very beautiful lily species. I also like all kind of lilium and I capture several ones.
you nicely captured this colorful flower, with sharp details, great composition and POV/DOF. coloration and lighting also very nice. thanks for sharing this beauty

Magnifique cliché de ce Lilium. J'adore le mariage des couleurs (rouge corail de la fleur et vert des tiges), dans un contraste impeccable. Belle composition, bien cadrée, ce qui met en valeur la fleur épanouie ainsi que les boutons floraux. Très belle netteté et profondeur de champ : l'intérieur de la corolle, les étamines et le pistil sont très bien rendus.
