Il ne s'agit pas ici d'un papillon, mais d'un neuroptère, Libelloides coccaius. Sur TN tu trouveras d'aures photos de cet insecte très intéressant. Le tien est un mâle, reconnaissable aux pinces terminant son abdomen. Très belle photo.

Hi Andrea,

Good photo of the insect! Insect is interesting and you have been able to tacke full advantage of this. Very good DOF showing well insects wing pattern and details of body and antenas. Nice use of light rendering nice vivid natural looking color tones.

la tua bella foto ritrae il Libelloides coccajus, come del resto già ti aveva suggerito anel.
Il Libelloides macaronius ha un disegno alare diverso: guarda, per esempio questo.
In particolare, quello che hai fotografato è un maschio: si vedono chiaramente, all'apice dell'addome, i due cerci che utilizza per afferrare la femmina durante la copula.

Hi Andrea

This is not a butterfly, but an Owl fly - Libelloides coccaius.

A lovely capture with good details and splendid colours. Maybe next time you could try to place your subject less central in the frame. It adds a bit of interest to the composition. Example, maybe this shot could have done with a slightly tighter cropping at the bottom and perhaps at the right to let the grass on the left of the insect provide a bit of variation. Just a suggestion though.

Critique update: Andrea, apparently I was wrong with the "macaronius" species as it indeed seems to be "coccaius" as indicated by Anne Gattlen (anel) and Marcello Romano (marcellr). So we all keep on learning.

Bellissima macro, ottimo il punto di ripresa, mi piace molto la composizione di tipo simmetrico e il taglio quadrato, buona nitidezza e molto belli i colori. La tua galleria è molto bella e varia. In essa predomina un buon gusto fotografico e compositivo, senza uno specifico indirizzo verso un determinato settore naturalistico. La fotografia deve essere adeguata ai mezzi che hai a disposizione, per cui ad esempio era impossibile ottenere un risultato di livello riprendendo il gheppio senza un opportuno teleobiettivo (il risultato in quel caso è comunque valido sul piano del documento). Mi piace molto inoltre il fatto che i tuoi paesaggi siano montani, essendo anch'io un montanaro (Tonezza del Cimone -VI) anche se ora abito a Mestre. Continua così ... puoi anche documentarti su internet o con qualche piccolo manuale per approfondire le conoscenze delle cose che fotografi o cimentarti inizialmente in ciò che conosci di più.
