Hello peter,
A fine closed-wing close macro of orbitulus. The technical aspects are great and the POV and composition pleasing against an OOF dark natural BG.
This species occurs in a confined area in Sweden near the Norwegian border, where the larval host plant is also Astragalus alpinus.
I must photograph it sometime, especially a fresh male with the wings open.
Thanks and best wishes,
Ivan

Hi Peter!

Looks like it is very good season for Lycanidae now. We've got many posts with these cute butterfly last days. Yours looks great. It is new specie for me. Very detailed and sharp with beautifull blue/silver colours combination. Even twig is perfectly composed with insect.
