Hi Peter

Another very beautiful post from you showing us this gorgeous Alpine Heath from an excellent side POV.
Thanks to that, and to the great sharpness of all the details plus the nice magnification, we are able to carefully examine the lovely pattern on its wings. I especially like the circles and the lines right at the tip of its wings :)
A very well taken shot, with good exposure balance and wonderful, well saturated natural colors.

Another superb capture of yours from an alpine meadow! This is such a gorgeous butterfly and I love this macro that shows the wing markings very clearly in natural colours. A very nice background too.

Hi Peter, da ist Dir eine Schönheit vor die Linse geflattert, einmalig!
Den würde ich gerne mal sehen - muß wohl das Martelltal einplanen - es wäre schön wenn man mehr Zeit hätte ...

Hallo Peter,

Deine Juli- Exkursion in die Alpen trägt reiche und seltene Früchte. Ich habe noch nie einen Alpen-Heufalter gesehen. Und Du hast ihn im Bild wundervoll in Szene gesetzt mit dem Quartz und dem Hintergrund. Du arbeitest perfekt mit Naturlicht. Bei mir wäre mit f/1/80 alles verwackelt.

Hi Peter,

This is such a fine framing of this beautiful butterfly. You must be pretty close to the subject with this excellent optics. I like the details with fine markings on the wings. The compound eye really pops here and the shallow depth makes the background silenced.

I looked into your gallery and I found this picture, that I admire a lot. Very sharp and clear. I like the butterfly against uniform grey background.
I like also that the pattern of the wings is so visible.
