How beautiful. This is defnitely the picture of the day. 10/10 for beauty. 10/10 for style. 10/10 for clarity and composition. My friend, you brought me just what the doctor has ordered for me for today. Thanks for making my day with this delicate purple flowers. The contrast between the green background and the lilac flower is tops. I like it very much. They are ever so lovely and very soft on the eye. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

beautiful purple in a well arrangement. The sharpness is splendid and you have exploited the light very well. The stamens which are small, are seen clearly. Excellent composition.

I am being a bit more diverse in my blue theme groups...but this one has a nice violet blue quality with blue being the base for all violet anyway...

Very nice delicate parts of the flower, some so small yet sharp and quite visible!

Bravo pour cette photographie de gentianella.

Belle composition d'une image très "pleine". Bien que l'arrière plan soit relativement présent, la "puissance" du sujet lui même suffit à l'oublier. Très belle netteté et profondeur de champs : de haut en bas, tous les détails sont perceptibles. Couleurs et contraste très réalistes.

Merci de nous avoir ùontré cette plante.

I love Gentianellas! In Poland now there is the time of flowering of autumnal races of Gentianellas. I am going to visit this weekend some localities of G. bohemica - one of the rarest Gentianella species in my coutry, which distribution I am researching. All the gentianellas in my coutry are rare and endangered, except G. ciliatia which is still quite frequent.

Nice shot, do you have some other photo with calyx sepals or leaves visible? I am interested in it. Cheers, Michal.
