Lieber Peter,
Ein seltenes Duo, das Du zu Gesicht bekommen hast! Wie unterschiedlich diese zwei sind! Nicht ganz einfach sie auf einem Felsen zu fotografieren!
Mit grosser Präzision fotografiert, schlichtes und schönes Bild.
Die Futterpflanzen zeige ich zufällig auf meinem letzten Bild (ist aber keine Einladung zu einer Kritik :-).

Hello Peter,

It impresses me as can appreciate differences between both individuals. The approach is excellent, me pleases a lot as it was reflected the fund, with excellent details of the texture of the crust, this has given him a frame natural perfect for the butterflies couple. Good job, with excellent light and his unmistakeable colourful tonality superb natural. As always, the information annexed is very good.

Lieber Peter,
phantastische Begegnung, ein kopulierendes Pärchen von Cynthia auf sonnenbeschienenem, flechtenbewachsenen Felsen anzutreffen, ist ein ganz besonderer Glücksfall. Gestochen scharfes, perfekt ausgeleuchtetes Photo - in der grellen Hochgebirgssonne gar nicht so einfach, auch in den tiefen Schatten noch Details abzubilden. Perfekt komponiert obendrein, wäre es für das Titelbild eines Werks über alpine Schmetterlinge geraezu prädestiniert. Gratuliere!

What a superb shot here I lvoe how you have caught them at opposite angles this way. the DOF is absoltuely spot on here giving great textural detail and your notes are interesting and informative too.

I am writing this critique because I appreciate that you have been able to post a fine capture of a pair E. cynthia in copulo showing the extreme sexual dimorphism that this species exhibits.
The technical quality is great and the composition on the lichen-covered rock pleasing.
