Hello Silvio,
This is one of the better ones. This butterfly is perfectly isolated from the BG. Great sharpness, details and clear colours. Excellent dorsal POV, OOF BG and composition.

another butterfly with splendid colors. Great presentation. You can find them up to 2300m, impressive. In Germany it'll be too cold up there ;-)

from time to time I can visit TN. This time I can enjoy this beautiful fritillary.
It is a specimen of Brenthis daphne (family: Nymphalidae) which is not so often seen here.

se avessi dovuto scegliere sarei stato più propenso alla tua ID, nonostante la diversità delle macchie nelle ali anteriori e non mi sono mai chiari i criteri decisivi per una scelta piuttosto che l'altra, certo non credo che la foto del WS aiuti per la decisione, a parte tutto questo preambolo un'altra splendida immagine di una bellissima farfalla con eccellente defin izione e bellissimi colori, composizionme classica.

Perfetta foto Silvio. La luce sembra venire da dietro e conferisce un magnifico risalto cromatico alla bestiola.
E' consolante sapere che, nonostante l'inquinamento, le farfalle esistono ancora.
