Hi and Good Morning MF Roberto,

A superb macro of this beauty with delightful composition and details. I think that you are right on this is a male P. argus. But i am sure Ivan will give its correct id as an expert.
Have a nice WE amico!
Cheers,

Bayram

Roberto,

Congratulation!
Is wonderful,whatever is...

Hi, Roberto
In most respects, these images seem more indicative of argyrognomon than argus. However, this side view seems conclusive - it shows the tibial hook (small spine projecting from rear tibial joint of leg) that is diagnostic of argus. An attractive image in typical resting pose.
Regards, Nigel.

Hello Roberto,

A great macro shot with beautiful/vivid coloration, sharpness & fine details. Well done Roberto...TFS.

I couldn't see the spin detail on its first leg. It will be P. idas.
Good capture with dark background.
TFS.

Hi Roberto!

Have I liked your 'light inside' photo for its special lighting, than for this one I like it much for it's detailed but still soft look. I also like the ws showing the butterfly's shape. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

Excellent close up, very sharp, natural colors and well blured BG,
TFS, regards,
Nikos.

Hello Roberto,
Just like the photo of Silvio, this is a plebeius argus, but I'm no expert.
Splendid colours and great sharp details. The contrast against the dark BG is fantastic. Very good POV and beautiful composition.
Regards,
Peter

Hi Chris,
Wonderful shot of this tiny but beautiful
butterfly with lovely colours and details on its wings. Nice pose captured with perfect lighting. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Best regards Siggi

Hi Roberto
Very elegant, sharp image of this small member of Lycaenidae. My advice is to lighten shadows a little bit (to make the background a little bit brighter) and to do a little noise reduction in background
I like your photo very much

Have a nice weekend!
