I can not help you with ID of species, but I would like to write a few words about picture :)
Lovely colours and good contrast, also DOF and sharpness looks good as for me. I believe that light was rather strong, but you done a very nice work :)

per quanto riguarda l'ID propendo moltissimo, come te, per trivia, in quanto la didyma, con la quale si può confondere, ha di solito lunule meno arrotondate, comunque nel riconoscimento sul campo avresti dovuto osservare che la trivia è generalmente più piccola e con colori meno contrastati (mi sembra di capire dall'immagine che possa essere così, ma tu dovresti esserne quasi certo), ottimi definizione e colori, eccellenti POV e composizione.

Wonderful macro shot of the adorable butterfly!
Colors are simply vivid with great contrasts existing in the picture. The sharpness and well-chosen POV with shallow DOF, collectively work very well in the picture. The blurred BG is very nice too. Well done!

Hi Silvio. I like the light colour to the edges on this colourful orange butterfly. Which we can see the open wing markings so well with your top pOV . I like the same coloures in the BG. well done TFS.

beh penso anch'io che sia una Melitaea trivia, ma non ci metterei la mano sul fuoco perchè non mi reputo così esperto da dare un giudizio al 100%: mi limito ad un piccolo parere! La farfalla è comunque ottimamente a fuoco riuscendone così ad apprezzarne sia i dettagli che i bellissimi colori della sua livrea.
