Ciao Silvio. Anche per me è uno Striolatum ma come sai la padella è sempre incombente. Ottima luce e bei colori, Il retiicolo delle ali si confonde con lo sfondo dello stesso colore. Peccato.

fra le varie possibili opzioni anche a me sembra un maschio di Sympetrum striolatum; a parte la mancanza di esperienza le libellule sono difficoltose non meno delle farfalle, visto che cambiano molto a seconda anche dello stadio di maturazione, ottima immagine con buona definizione e bellissimi colori

The plane brown thorax without the light bands on the side and the black legs suggest that this is a male S. sanguineum.
Nicely captured from a dorsal POV with good sharpness and colours against the dry bare ground and set in a pleasing composition.

An unusual shot of this red dragonfly who seems to be digging in the dirt. I'm glad you put the locale in the workshop - gave more meaning to the picture. Beautifully composed with the brilliant red and the green leaves.
