Very nice and clear picture. Its delicate blue-yellow colour tones are beautiful. Great details of the butterfly harmonize with selected DOF very well. Lighting and compo-sition also are perfect. My compliments and TFS.

Great shot of the Machaon. It seems like it would be flying to the blue sky. This picture gives really the impression of lightness of the butterfly

Bonita macro Franco con excelente punto de vista, muy buen foco y despegue del fondo de la escena.
Me encanta el encuadre elegido sobre el imponente cielo, aunque la iluminación es ligeramente elevada.

What a splendid composition with this beautiful and vivid swallowtail!
The POV is great and the colors are wonderful - very well saturated.
The blue sky makes a great BG and the DOF is very well managed.

Fantastic, Franco,
I love this butterfly, so noble.
It's the biggest one in Europe and very rare here in Germany.
I also had the luck to see one at the Lago di Garda this year, but didn't had the chance to make a shot ;-(
