a downy Little grebe with its parent.
The photo was taken on 29 september and the age of the pullus is about 30 days,so the egg was hatched around at the end of August when the bigger part of the Little grebes have ended the breeding time.
Pullo con adulto di Tuffetto,si tratta di una riproduzione tardiva considerando l'età del pullo di circa 30 giorni,la nascita è da riferirsi a fine Agosto quando la maggior parte dei Tuffetti ha terminato il periodo riproduttivo, è noto in letteratura che il Tuffetto può spingere la riproduzione anche fino ad Ottobre,percui questo dato è inusuale ma non eccezionale.
