Hi Maurizio.
I also photographed this species in this summer. It rather rare species near my countryside house. Wonderful diagonal composition of the butterfly on a fine flower. I also like excellent details of the main subject against impressive smooth BG. Well done and TFS.

Se non fosse per la punta dell'ala sinistra potrei riscrivere la stessa critica fatta per la Inachis...ma e' solo un piccolo dettaglio,e' una nuova bellissima arancione di cui quest'anno hai fatto incetta con degli scatti straordinari,lavoro oltre ogni limite anche come composizione.Solo un piccolo consiglio,mi sembra che i tuoi ultimi post sono un po' troppo forti come saturazione,problema di monitor o scelta voluta? A superb shot of niobe, the rear dorsal POV being noot easy, but you managed almost total sharpness. The colours, composition against the neutral Bg and fine lighting contribute to an excellent image of this fresh male.
