Ces moissons accompagnées des coquelicots, bleuets et autres "mauvaises" herbes sont magnifiques et hélas devenues tellement rares dans ma région... Herueux de voir qu'il en existe encore en bon état.

Hello Silvio,

There are some problems IMHO with that picture:

a) The horizon line is too high (should be at 1/3 of the image)

b) Noise too present in the image;

c) The colors looks so saturated in my monitor...

But I should say that that field looks great :-)

This looks like a sea of colors!
It's amazing the way when going back in the image, the red and blues of the flowers mixes to produce a purple color. Great effect!
The mountains at the back gives us a sense of depth and the real scale.
I like very much this colorful composition.

To heck with conventions < 1/3rd of what? Focus? Which flower?> I actually like to see a tighter crop and just admire that mass of wildflowers! In this case natural colour and profusion is more important than any techie rules to convey the beauty in this image of a limitless flowerfield . Ergo remove the sky. Etc. See attached. What a lovely field of colorful "dots"!
It's wonderful to see such vast landscapes untouched by human hand.
I really like the colors here are the very good exposure.
Nice composition and DOF, too.
A bit soft on the details, but still a nice post.

Wonderful image Silvio. I have taken some shots of poppy fields myself and I know how difficult can be to convey the sea of colours without it all merging into one and losing detail. You have managed that successfully here.
