You have been providing consistent quality images of insects in your gallery and very pleasant to look at.

This composition of the beetle and flower is excellent with well managed light and depth. The focus is pristine demonstrating superb sharpness on the subject. The perch against the contrasting flower exposing the whole back is useful and cropping is just perfect for this post.

Hi Peter

Another very good macro shot from you!
I like to see such a great full-frame shot, one in which the composition was very well though of even before taking it. The result is a nice use of the diagonal line to include the entire length of this beetle's body and big antennae.
The DOF choice is excellent and keeps all the important elements in very good focus.
Nice use of the natural light, too as well as the usual informative note which always comes in handy :)

Terrific close-up picture in every aspect. Some main from them are subject (I like the main objects – amazing beetle n the wonderful flower and remoter blurred a bit flower too), stunning reproduction of all colour tones and especially white colour tone, great DOF and perfect sharpness of the insect and petals, nice soft lighting. Excellent refined work. Bravo.
