Hi Maurizio,

I don't remember ever seeing a Pygmy Cormorant before! A fantastic pose on the branch with his beak wide opened. Although his colors are dark he stands out beautifully against the green leaves. The face and plummage are wonderful.

Bello e mi piace molto anche il WS, forse di più, per via dello sfondo ben sfocato che esalta il soggetto e della cornice di rami che portano lo sguardo sul marangone, ben composta.

Lo sfondo in questa foto invece ha effetti strani che mi fanno un po' 'girare gli occhi' (non so se mi spiego...) forse dovuto al crop o all'aggiunta di sharp non solo sul soggetto ma in tutta la foto (?!?!).

Anche per me è migliore la foto del WS. Complimenti per l'ottimo scatto. Mi raccomando, segui bene questa specie, visto che sei spesso in oasi e tieni nota delle osservazioni (chissà che nidifichi)!

Fine capture of a Pigmy Cormorant in a natural environment and standing ou well infront of the green OOF BG. Excellent composition and I like the WS image too.
I didn't know that there is an Italian breeding population. Thanks for sharing these fine images and for the good note.

Nunca he visto una especie de ave igual a esta. Tiene hermoso color negro en su plumaje y la pose es muy bella, mostrando asi sus atributos.
