this is the spider Pisaura mirabilis (family: Pisauridae). Attractive lateral view to show the long legs of the species.
Well captured and nicely composed.

I think Peter has probably solved the problem as to the ID.
As for the picture..It is so very well taken..Fantastic sharp details..and good eye contact!!..something rarely said about a spider shot!!...A lovely scene..
