[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On my last geological trip I went to Stromboli, a little vulcanic island in Sicily.
I taken this photo when I was just near the famous Sciara del fuoco... And I was amazed looking at the sea, wondering where did it "finish" and where the sky started:)!!

Sciara del Fuoco is made of volcanic scoria; it is a formed depression about 5000 years ago for the collapse of a vulcanic building side.
The most part of the eruption products arrive and stop in this area.
Sciara del Fuoco goes on beneath the sea level over the 600 meters of depth!!

This is eerie and fantastic, what a beautiful shot! I love, like you say, the unending sea, the beautiful light created by the moon and the superb silhouetted grass and hill. Great composition, beautiful lighting and colours, thank you Bianca,

Francine
