Bellissima macro, eccellenti POV e composizione, molto buona la nitidezza, peccato che la sirfide di sinistra (non è politica!) sia leggermente fuori asse per cui non ha gli stessi riflessi e la stessa definizione (è sempre difficile se non impossibile trovare l'inclinazione giusta per una messa a fuoco precisa e con ampia DOF, per es. con le farfalle non riesco quasi mai a trovare una messa fuoco perfetta su tutto il corpo), magnifici i colori. Somehow titling it Sirfidi in love gives it a calmer feeling...as I mentioned at times I am somewhat skittish at bees....of most kinds..I have one I shall post today with no ID...oh goody..thanks much for this one though. It is a sight I have not seen in my bee watching and I have kept a pretty close eye on them.

Ciao Luciano (ahahahaha) certo che sti insetti sono peggio delle vacche! Sono appena tornato da giro e oggi c'era un'autentica orgia di damigelle e dragoni..mi sa che dovro' preparare una collezione dedicata a questo tema visto che oramai i modelli di farfalle disponibili per la stagione si sta esaurendo,bellissimo lo scatto anche perche' fatto all'ombra dove ottengo sempre pessimi risultati,mi paicciono i riflessi colorati sulle ali,ciao buona serata,Luciano

Marvelous macro of these mating Hoverflies. You captured them positioned perfectly on the leaf. Details are excellent - wonderful colors. I love the transparent wings closed on top of their bodies.

Non riesci proprio a lasciarli tranquilli che insetti che amoreggiano! Spettacolai i riflessi ulle ali e grande nitidezza. Occhio che questi mi sa che pungono se disturabati troppo.
