This day I visit Lio Maggiore. It was the first time I visit this wonderful area. In the
summer I think you mostly see the breeding birds, but for me many rare birds.
Other birds I saw was Scuacco Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, Pygmy Cormorant and
many Bee-Eaters and Penduline Tit. The Little Grebe swim in a litte canal near
Via Lio Maggiore. The problem was I had the light against me.
It should be interesting to visit this area in autumn, winter or spring.

Hej Lars,
You must have got very close to this one, here they're very shy and hard to capture in the summer. I like the light, the wet look and the reflection in the water. Excellent sharpness and beautiful colours too.
