Famiglia SATIRIDI

Piccolo lepidottero (apertura alare di circa 30 mm) dalle ali color giallo-camoscio brillante con bordature grigie marginali. Le ali anteriori presentano sopra un piccolo ocello cieco apicale, che inferiormente si ripete con pupilla e cerchiato di giallo. Le parti inferiori sono fulve anteriormente e con una linea postdiscale marcata; posteriormente, evidenziano marezzature chiare e fascia postdiscale biancastra.

Hi Sergio,

What a nice composition with the butterfly on the withered stems. Colors of the butterfly melt in the colors of the background but the eye on them concentrate viewers attention in a great way.

A really beautiful butterfly captured with fine details and perfect colouration. The dof is perfect for isolating the similarly coloured b/g.
