A wonderful very close close-up of this beautiful butterfly. I love the bold wing markings which you show in fine details. The colors are stunning. A nice pose with the head held straight up and the antennae raised. A beautiful setting and composition.

A forceful composition Luciano, your POV is perfect, so is the chosen DOF, the right exposure and sharp focus. The contrasty pattern and colouration of the slightly weathered b.fly plesantly illuminated. TFS this fine image my friend.

meravigliosa macro, hai colto questa bellissima farfalla in una splendida postura con le antenne dritte e abbracciata alla foglia con le ali stese a mostrare tutta la loro bellezza, ottima la qualità complessiva. Questa farfalla che tu fotografi con frequenza non passa mai davanti alla mia fotocamera.

Hello luciano,

Your photo has an exquisite sharpness showing so well the texture of the wings. Even fine scales can be well seen. The strong light you have used so well has rendered very fine looking colors so the pattern of the wings can be easily observed. There is a very fine contrast with the blurry background enhacingthe sharpness of the buterfly.

This is a wonderful capture!
The closeness, displaying the sharp details of colour and texture, are just amazing!
Besides the intricate wing patterns, it is possible to see the spots on the eyes, the fur on the body and the hairs on the legs!!
I love the way it is clinging to the leaf.
