Good Morning Luciano,

This butterfly looks to be spreading its wings especially to be photographed! Nice details.
A good dof to isolate the insect from its b/g.

For me, the composition would have been a little more interesting with the butterfly less centrally placed and perhaps rotated a little.

You present us a classical, yet very pleasant butterfly picture. From my point of view it's the kind of picture that is mainly determined by the scientific background and not by the artistic effect. In that sense the picture is fine and well accompanied by the instructive notes.

This moth is truly beautiful with the purple color added. I like the fuzziness in the wing edges, which makes this picture more than just a catalogue entry.

Bonjour Luciano,
Belle phalène de la famille des Géométridés, une espèce que j'ai déjà vue aussi, mais je n'ai pas pu en faire d'images. La coloration des ailes est vraiment subtile,elle pourrait être utilisée pour une étoffe d'une robe haute-couture. Il semble que tu sois un peu moins présent ces derniers temps, arrivée de l'hiver oblige!

Very charming moth, Luciano.
I find its subtle colours very pleasing and the wing edges very ornate. Reminds me of some very classy native apparel Indian women wear on special occasions.

According to the photo - I like a species, it is rather colourful as for Geometridae moths :) Good sharpness, DOF and details, also note is informative (even if not very long :>).
