Hello neighbour Silvio,
The last week I visited a butterbly house in the Netherlands and made a lot of photos there. In the next weeks I shall place a few here on TN.
Great photo in a good isolation from the OOF BG. Good sharpness and details, beautiful natural colours and a nice composition.

Such a sharp and crisp butterfly picture, Silvio!
The focus is amazing and the colours and patterns extremely delightful.
I have removed my latest picture you were kind enought to react to today; I had already posted the same very shot some months ago, so it was an unintentional duplication on my part. Sorry for wasting your precious critique.

bene focalizzata e colta in bella posa sul fiore questa Melanargia galathea ,che da noi trovi in montagna
il consiglio per un Ws che scurisca le ali in modo da trasformare il marrone in nero..che sta sempre bene con il bianco!!!

una bella immagine di questa farfalla, che s'incontra spesso in colonie numerose, una splendida composizione con uno sfondo molto gradevole e che crea un bell'effetto TD, buona definizione, sui colori non so quale sia il dilemma proposto da Sergio, sicuramente non è facile rendere bene la livrea di questa farfalla in quanto secondo me il bianco deve essere crema e la parte scura deve tendere al nero.

You have found the "sweat spot" on your camera settings Silvio. This is superb. It is 3D...almost as if there is no backdrop at all...Very well seen.

Usted tiene hermosas mariposas en su nevera!...

Hermosos colores los de esta especie, muy sobrios pero contrastantes. A mi se me hace difícil fotografiar mariposas con combinaciones de colores semejantes a esta, y a veces termino "quemando" el área blanca. Es interesante ver como tú puedes conseguir el equilibrio perfecto de luz para lograr buenos detalles.
