[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this the portrait of a juvenile Black Stork (Ciconia nigra).
Very few of the Black Stork stay in Italy for winter,the other go to Africa.
This one was starved and injured,so with the help of the forestry we captured and was cured in the centre of rehab for storks of the italian partner of Bird-Life,LIPU,in province of Treviso.
Last spring (2005) we free it and fly away in good health and with a color ring marked a leg.
