What a moment!!! Absolutely great capture, Yves! Weren't you burning? Anyway, i'm guessing it takes a lot to get there and stay and take pictures while that thing erupts...so my hat's of to you:)

Its great to see such spectacular things happening infront of u , do give more details of the same if u can like do u camp in there all nite and reach back down in morning ? Sure your lucky to witness such event and photgraph the same. Thx for sharing this.

I have always wanted to go to Stomboli, I have been to Etna which was fabulous but never made it to Stromboli - I am hoping to go next year. This picture has made my mind up

That is a fantastic capture, Yves.
It sounds like an awe-inspiring experience, to be right up there during an eruption. Definitely something very special. : )
I have been close to flowing lava in Hawaii, but never that close to a spraying fountain.
Wonderful colors and action and great composition.

This is a picture not easy to take. You had to use a sensitive ISO, slow speed and wide apperature. Focus as to be perfect to take this kind of picture. Still, you did a nice job.

Very impressive picture of that dramatic moment. I like it for that extreme contrast reducing colours only to black and fire tones.

it's again me, but your pictures are amazing. This eruption is marvellous - I'd love to see such an eruption, too. I've seen one in Ecuador but only hot steam and lava from far far away.

Fantastic light show. You've captured the grandure of a volcanic expolosion so nicely. The deep black background adds a rich contrast to the brilliant oranges and golds. Well done.
