My first contribution to TN:
I made this photo in the alps in Italy. It´s shot at about 2700m. In this height there aren´t any more plants, only a bit grass, which you maybe see.
Under the blue sky you see about 3200m high montains which are covered with glaciers. The warm sun lets accrue many streams of "cool water", which can refresh you after long hiking tours :-).

The view up to the large mountains and the glaciers lets the landscape appear giant.
I worry about melcing ice in the Alps because of the Global warming. Maybe there won´t be anymore photos like that from the alps in a few years :-(.

Welcome to TN, Fabian!
Your picture of the Italian Alps is pretty good for a first post on this site.
I share with you your concern for global warming.
Thanks.

Buongiorno Fabian,
molto bello paesaggio glaciale, bella montagna! Grazie,
Arnaud.

Hallo Fabian,
really here? Yes, you did it and registered to TN ... and you show a beautiful picture of an area which I like very much. The depth of the picture is nice and one can get an impression of the gigantic rock and ice world. Clearly, reality is more impressive! What about a next hiking tour?
Dad Peter

Hi Fabian,

This is a very nicely exposed image Fabian. It is hard to see the glaciers disappearing. In Alaska they have receded miles in some instances. Glacier National Park in Montana basically has no glaciers left! I almost bought your camera and I continue to be impressed with the photos. Check out Tim's pictures. (billygoat). I think he may have the same camera.

Welcome to TrekNature. I hope you enjoy it here and learn as much as so many of us have.

Hi Fabian,
Cool shot..literally :)
Everything looks very good. I like the way this stream winds back through the frame, and your POV. Great blue sky as well.
Nicely done..Your Dad's a great teacher ;)

Hi Fabian,
Nice landscape.
I like the blue sky.
And of course very welcome;-)

Hello Fabian,
exciting picture! I like the diagonal composition and the well chosen point of view with the water coming down just in front of you. Clear and sharp image. Great depth.
I am sharing your concern about the future of glaciers.
Thank you, and best regards,
Peter
