[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I believe this is a vespula Vulgaris. The worker wasps had fed the grubs hunted and scavenged insects and carrion through summer. In return the grubs exuded a sweet sticky substance that the workers ate. Now, at this time of year with the ceasation of their favoured sugar source, they go in search of alternatives. And this is when they clash with us. You'll find them in bins and around pop cans, jam sandwiches and fruit.

good composition, colours..but noise...

Yes, there is of the noise on the green bottom but the details of the insect are so net, it is a pleasure to look of if near without risking be pricked! The contrast is good and colours are magnificent without speaking about the very well realized composition. Good shot!

Oui, il y a du bruit sur le fond vert mais les détails de l'insecte sont tellement nets, c'est un plaisir de regarder de si près sans risquer de se faire piquer! Le contraste est bon et les couleurs sont magnifiques sans parler de la composition très bien réalisée. Good shot!

It looks like this one is working hard, Rimantas! I like the tight depth of field and the composition, here. Nice placement of insect in the frame.
