[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Inachis io / Peacock Butterfly / Dagpauwoog / Tagpfauenauge / Épine noire.

The Peacock (Inachis io) is a well-known colourful butterfly, found in temperate Europe and Asia. It is the only member of the genus Inachis. The species is resident in much of its range, often wintering in buildings or trees. It therefore often appears quite early in spring.

Hello Rimantes,

Today my neighbour, an excellent close-up capture of this beautifully coloured butterfly with wonderful details, sharpnes and lighting. The composition is great too. I liked especially the OFF BG. TFS.

Bayram

Bonjour Rimantas
Très belle macro de ce papillon, superbes couleurs et bonne netteté, seul la partie gauche n'est pas tout à fait nette. Belle prise.
Amicalement Robi

Hi Rimantas,

I like composition and colors of this photo very much.
It's a pity that the head of the peacock isn't sharp. If it isn't possible to get the whole butterfly sharp I think it's better to focus the head.
