Sooty copper - Lycaena tityrus male.It's rather small butterfly - the wingspan is about 30 mm. The males are very dark brown with lots of black, and some orange, spots on the upper side. The female is more colorful.
Crop, sharpened,reduce noise and resized to 800 pixels for the site.

I find that white fringe on the wings of Sooty Coppers very attractive, Rimantas.
Well managed picture with good colours and details.

Hi Rimantas,
Not necessarily a colourful butterfly but it has lovely patterns that compensate...especially the white border around its wings and the spots of orange.A nice capture from above with its wings fully extended...good detail,clarity and natural colours.
