[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There are two species of Redstarts in Luxembourg: Common Redstart and Black Redstart. Both are breeding in my garden. In Luxembourg Black Redstart is much more common than Common Redstart (YES that's true!)
This nest was in my woodshed. Black Redstarts always breed on buildings (in other European regions also in cliffs) whereas Common Redstart is most commonly breeding in natural cavities in trees (or in Nestboxes)

Nice capture Tom,

a good spring-time shot. Excellent timing.
Very fine details.

Hi Tom.
Fantastic image, right down to the rusty nail coming through the roof. You have caught the moment perfectly with the young ones all with their beaks open waiting for mother. The Composition, DOF, colour, detail, sharpness where needed, all spot on.
Great image.

A priceless capture - and so well done. The babies in their nest with the wide opened beaks are adorable. The parent is beautiful. Colors and details are fantastic. I love it!!
