Robin Erithacus rubecula
Another shot taken in my garden. This bird is about to leave with wings already spread an thus blured due to movement.
Robin is a rather small passerine, quite common in Luxembourg and must not be mistaken for the American Robin, which is a large thrush.

Hi Tom. good shot of the Robin. good colour and POV. the lightis a bit bright around the lower part. but stail a very nice shot. looks good against the dark background. very well done TFS.
Nick..

Hello Tom , very unusual bird photo , black background and motion wings strange and successful , TFS.

Hi Tom,
interesting shot of this beautiful robin with great action, BG, sharpness, POV, lighting and eyes contact. Nicely composed. thanks.
well done
Ahmet

Hi Tom,
The fill flash exposure looks really good here. The colors and detail in the plumage is really nice. The dark backround makes for a dramatic composition. I have to admit that the European Robins are far cuter than the North American Variety.

Great capture Tom, love how you managed to capture some motion blur on the wings while the body remains in focus. Well done.
