very sharp detail you get here,nice shot.i just wonder how can you get these shot with your setup stated (canon 60mm macro)??these bird are so small,i had try him with my 400mm plus 2x and only can get a full frame shot once.

comment est ce possible avec seulement 60mm???????
moi j'etais a 8 metres avec un 300mm et il a fallut que je recadre beaucoup pour obtenir la photo que j'ai publiée dernierement.
enfin quelque soit la maniere le resultat est superbe.

I'm amazed by the way you were able to fill the frame with a macro lens.
The bird really must have been confortable with your close presence.

I sure would like to know how you got so close with that 6mm without scaring it...Remote trigger perhaps. Great details and about as close as anyone could get!

What a stunner you have here! My first posting was of a kingfisher and now I tend to look for all the others types of kingfishers on the gallery. Going through the web pages on Trek Nature is a new adventure every time, and I can understand why it is so difficult to get away from the PC. There are just so many talented photographers on the site and they all have such spectacular portfolios. Your photo of "Female common kingfisher" popped up on my screen and it is definitely worth more than just one smiley. I just love the different colours of the plumage and adore the funky hairstyle ( I mean feather style).This is an absolute marvelous close-up with clear details. The glint in its eye is a special feature that rounds off this magic photo. Thanks for sharing.
