Impressive image. Excellent POV...and DOF; the latter displaying the beautiful eyes very well.
Very good sharpness and details.
Only nit is the ear...
Nevertheless an outstanding image...

Superb portrait of this amazing fellow. You are right. Eye-contact impresses. I like perfect sharpness and details of the image and nice colour reproduction. Only, I think, cropping at the top is strong a bit. However, very expressive portrait work. My best wishes and TFS.

A beautiful capture of this red bad fox. Very nice details with Excellent DOF and POV. And the focus on eyes looks great. Only problem is the ear of the fox is a bit cut. Always try to keep the whole subject in frame. Excellent capture. Very well done. Thanks a lot for sharing.

F/5.6 works very well here, to isolate just the face in your frame.
Very sharp & detailed, excellent color & exposure..Very nice closeup eye contact too :)
