This is another nice butterfly picture from Pelister National Park which I wanted to visit, but becauseof luck of time it was impossible..

Hello Mihajlo,
you show a well-focused and clear picture of Melanargia galathea (Nymphalidae, Satyrinae). The specimen has more extended dark wing markings compared to our west European form (except those from Friuli which are VERY dark). The populations of Pelister can be assigned to subspecies satnia.
