| This island found in the upper most part of Gozo is called the Fungus Rock becuase because on the rock grows the 'Maltese Fungus' (Cynomoruim coccineum). Since this plant is only found on this rock, it has attracted many interest from botanists although lately the plant was found on other small islands in the mediterranean. |

Hi Matt,
A welcome break for me from commenting insect macros. I see you followed the rule of thirds here, putting the horizon in the upper third of the frame. This points to a well thought out composition because it hides the flat light of a bright featurless sky. Well done indeed! I like the reflections as well.

Hello Matt,
A well composed image of this interesting rock!
Colours and details are simply great, is the fungus the green hue we can see?
Greetings,
Pablo -
I like your picture of this interesting rock in the sea, Matthew.
Thanks for sharing it.
