[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This tiny butterfly, which I tentatively identified as a Chapman's Blue [Polyommatus thersites] was enjoying the warmth of the Maltese Spring sunshine and allowed me a series of shotS - All handheld and with UV filtering.
Could anyone please confirm the ID
Thanks

Hello Mark,
Very close shot of this butterfly and you managed beautifully! i like the pov a lot! legs positions is interesting and the flower is beautiful too! Very nice bg also! It seems that the butterfly looks have very hard life and met some difficulties in its life :-) A little bit more sharpness on the wing could be useful. btw, i have no specialty on butterflies sorry I can't help with the id...
Cheers!

Hi mark, very sharp with good exposure and a beautiful model. Luis

Very interesting POV, Mark.
The image is sharp and colourful.
Well done and TFS.

Nice shot of this rare butterfly. I think the brightness level is to high but only a little bit ;-)

Chris

hello
Great close up and very sharp picture.Great! I like the contrast with the flower. But I can't help you with id by seeing the underside of the wings sorry. The chapmans blue has been recorded twice in Malta,in 1979 and in 1997. So this fellow could be very interesting. Good Work.
