Hello Mark,
nice point of view to present this hoverfly. Colours appear natural. Sharpness is pretty good but could be a little higher (as is also true for the hoverfly picture I posted today).
Didn't you take pictures in Libya?

Buena macro Mark con agudeza y colorido contrastando con el fondo con buena difusión.
El punto de vista captado, permite percibir detalles de la totalidad del insecto, destacándose sus ojos, pequeñas antenas y pelos.
El encuadre es algo centrado, pero no desmerece la calidad de la presentación.

Good macro Mark with sharpness and coloring contrasting with the bottom with good diffusion.
The captured point of view allows to perceive details of the entirety of the insect, standing out their eyes, small antennas and hair.
The framing is something centered, but doesn't be unworthy of the quality of the presentation.

Well done Mark.
Very good color, DOF, sharpness, detail, and use of flash to fill lightly..When done properly, fill flash is not seen..just appreciated :) Great job on this little guy.
