[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ener since I bought my first digital, I cannot stop photographing insects. Luckily we have a very mild climate in Malta so they are very prolific and varied. I have filled my favourites list with insect related sites but I still find it very difficult to positively identify a specimen. I have tried putting this beauty as being a Blue Argus - Could anyone please confirm?
Thanks
Mark

Saludos Luis52

It's a Lycaenidae for sure.
But its not the Blue argus. Take a look at:

http://www.leps.it/indexjs.htm?SpeciesPages/AriciAnter.htm

May be some kind of Plebejus or Polyommatus.

Nice POV and BG!
TFS!

Great Batterfly and great portfolio Mark.
Great colors and Details in this picture.
Good composition and good POV and BG.
The shot is a bit noise that it is ok.
Welcome to TN, you will like here.

This a lovely sharp picture Mark. It's a little grainy but you can get rid of that using NeatImage. I like your chosen DOF very much and you have a great POV too. Beautifully lit and posed. Nicely done :)

Nice shot but there are too much noise in the background. I've created a workshop with corrected image.
